class descriptions
LITTLES (30 mins): Dancers between the ages of 3-5 years old. Introduction to Irish dance fundamentals, jig and circle dance.
LEVEL 1 (45 mins): New Beginners 5 and up who have been taking less than 1 year. Introduction to Irish dance fundamentals, jig and 2-hand reel and 2-hand jig.
LEVEL 2 (75 mins): Continuing and Advanced Beginners who are working on fundamentals in both soft and heavy shoe and learning light jig, reel, slip jig, treble jig and hornpipe dances in the traditional speeds.
LEVEL 3 (90 mins): Novice and Prizewinner (or equivalent) dancers who have passed the beginner and intermediate core dances and are working on advanced material, team dances, and show choreographies.

LEVEL 4 (90-120 mins): Prizewinner and Preliminary Championship (or equivalent) dancers who are refining core dances, learning championship speed dances in heavy shoe, competing in solo and team dances, and performing show choreographies.
​
LEVEL 5 (90-120 mins): Preliminary Championship and Open Championship dancers who are qualified for solos and teams at major competitions and performing show choreographies.
