CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

LITTLES (30 mins): Dancers between the ages of 3-5 years old. Introduction to Irish dance fundamentals, jig and circle dance.

LEVEL 1 (45 mins): New Beginners 5 and up who have been taking less than 6 months or 2 sessions. Introduction to Irish dance fundamentals, jig and 2-hand reel.

LEVEL 2 (75 mins): Continuing Beginners who are working on mastering Irish dance fundamentals, passing their jig and reel, and starting heavy shoe.

LEVEL 3 (90 mins): Advanced Beginners, Novice and Prizewinner dancers who have passed their jig and reel and are working on soft and heavy shoe solos in addition to show choreographies.

LEVEL 3 COMPETITIVE (90 mins): Prizewinner dancers who are actively competing in feiseanna and the Mid-America Oireachtas.

TEAMS (105 mins): Level 2 and 3 dancers who are interested in competing at the Mid-America Oireachtas (regional championships) in ceilis. These dancers will also be eligible to compete at the Oireachtas in traditional sets solos.

*Families with 2 dancers receive 5% discount on tuition
**Families with 3 dancers receive 15% discount on tuition

FALL CLASS SCHEDULE

MONDAYS

5:15-7:00pm – TEAMS

Dates: 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18 (No class 9/2, 10/14, 11/25)

TUESDAYS

5:15-7:00pm – LEVEL 3 COMPETITIVE SOLOS (MUST BE APPROVED)

Dates: 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/12, 11/19, 11/26 (no class 11/5)

WEDNESDAYS

4:00-4:45pm – LEVEL 1

4:45-6:00pm – LEVEL 2 (soft + heavy)

6:00-7:30pm – LEVEL 3 / LEVEL 3 COMPETIIVE (combined)

Dates: 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20 (No class 11/27)

SATURDAYS

9:00-10:30am – LEVEL 3

10:30-11:00am – LITTLES

11:00-11:45am – LEVEL 1

12:00-1:30pm – LEVEL 2 (soft + heavy)

1:30-3:00pm – LEVEL 3 COMPETITIVE SOLOS AND TRAD SETS (MUST BE APPROVED)
